CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Over the years we have taken a keen interest in several issues affecting the country. ALS is proud to support surgeons of the Medical and Educational Aid to Kenya www.meak.org with complimentary and discounted travel towards eye and heart operations within Kenya. This was an initiative that we felt very passionately about and were humbled to be part of.

ALS provides helicopters for motor sport activities such as the East African Classic Safari Rally, Rhino Charge & the Rally Raid for any medical evacuations that may occur. In the past, we have also been the official safety sponsors for the Kenya National Rally Championship (KNRC) by providing medical evacuation services at no cost, using the helicopters. Rallying is a sport that is avidly followed and pursued by many in the ALS family.

In 2014, the ALS Rally teams raised KShs 1 Million for the Kenyan Paraplegic Organization (KPO) – in loving memory of KPO patron Chani Vohra. The funds will be going towards the construction of Kenya’s first rehabilitation center for spinal cord injury patients. ALS believe in giving back to the community and used their passion for rallying as a way of raising some funds for the paraplegic society in Kenya.
