James is Senior Human Resources professional with experience in administering a range of human resources programs, providing strategic and operational human resources development and managing cross-functional teams that deliver results. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Ongoing at UON), Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management from Moi University, a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the College of Human Resource Management (CHRM) with over 11 years’ experience in the Aviation, Manufacturing, Hotel and Hospitality Industries, both locally and internationally. He is a full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) with a good standing record.
ALS Limited employed James in July 2019 as the Human Resource Manager (Head of Department) inspired by his experience in streamlining the Performance Management Processes, revising the HR Manual, managing Industrial Relations matters, Recruiting, Compensation, and Training of employees. Moreover, James has managed HR Strategic and Operational demands and various HR department related activities, by providing HR support to the business collaborates where required, in order to achieve the company objectives, both locally and internationally, in organisations such as; Laico Regency Hotel Nairobi as Human Resource Manager, Eka Hotel Nairobi as Human Resource Manager, Bake ‘N’ Bite Kenya Ltd as Human Resource Manager, Swissport Kenya Limited Nairobi as Human Resource Officer and the Zanzibar Collection, Zanzibar as an Asst. Human Resource Manager.
