Over the past three decades, ALS has played an integral role in supporting humanitarian operations both locally and internationally. In its stride to provide a one stop customized aviation solution provider, the company invested in various aircraft and set up subsidiary companies to meet specific and unique niche markets.
Our services include:-
ALS leases aircraft to customers on an Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) basis as its core business. ALS offers ACMI leases primarily to humanitarian organizations and corporate clients operating across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. ACMI contracts account for approximately 90% of ALS’s revenue operations.
Under an ACMI lease, ALS provides the aircraft, crew (which includes pilots, cabin crew and engineers) and all aircraft maintenance support to the lessee. ALS also provides hull and third party insurance for leased aircraft. Hull insurance is taken out to cover the risk of damage to the aircraft itself while third party insurance covers against the risk of claims made by third parties due to damages caused by leased aircraft. The premiums paid by ALS with respect to hull and third party insurance are passed on to the lessee and are reflected in the lease price.
Under ALS ACMI leases, lessees are required to provide all fuel to the aircraft and defray all landing, handling, parking and storage fees. Lessees also provide all hotel and accommodation to the crew provided to operate and maintain the aircraft under the terms of the lease. Additionally, lessees pay over-flight, navigation fees, air traffic control charges, war insurance premiums and any costs resulting from painting leased aircraft in the lessee’s organizational colours.
ALS specializes in providing aircraft on ACMI globally for several sectors.
We pride ourselves in providing the following services on a global level:
This is the lease of the basic aircraft without insurances, crew, maintenance etc. A dry lease requires the Lessee to put the aircraft on its’ own AOC and provide aircraft registration. A typical dry lease starts from two years onwards and bears certain conditions as far as depreciation, maintenance, insurances etc. are concerned. This depends on the geographical location, political circumstances etc. There are generally two types of dry lease, an Operating Lease and a Finance Lease.
As an aircraft owner, ALS is able to provide lease options on both operating and finance leases.
This is an arrangement in which airlines sell an aircraft (s) and leases it back for a long term. By doing so, this allows airline to make full use of the asset while not having capital tied up in the asset.
ALS is able to provide airlines with Sale and Leaseback options on the purchase of their new aircraft.
